Terms

Terms for using WeaverClip.

These terms govern access to WeaverClip. The service is currently in pre-release, and no customer is charged until checkout clearly presents the price and the customer confirms payment.

Effective July 28, 2026

Using WeaverClip

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login, and use WeaverClip only for lawful content you own or have permission to process. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for obtaining any required consent from people appearing in a recording.

Your content

You retain ownership of your recordings, transcripts, clips, and other content. A recording includes its video picture and any microphone or computer audio tracks you enabled in OBS. You grant WeaverClip a limited permission to host, copy, transcode, analyze, and deliver that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

You must not upload illegal material, malware, content that infringes another person's rights, or material intended to abuse or disrupt the service.

Plans, usage, and payment

Paid plans renew monthly unless canceled. Prices, included storage, source-footage hours for transcripts, captions, and transcript-based clip suggestions, included renders, and additional storage or render charges are shown before purchase. Uploading and storing footage does not consume transcript time. Only source duration that finishes transcription counts; failed work and footage already transcribed do not count again. Free-plan transcript and render allowances are one-time totals. Paid-plan allowances renew monthly. When the transcript allowance is used, new transcripts, captions, and clip suggestions pause until the allowance renews or the account upgrades; stored recordings remain available until their stated deletion date.

Finished clips created on the Free plan include a WeaverClip.Video watermark. Paid-plan clips do not include that required watermark by default. The plan, price, storage limit, transcript allowance, render allowance, source-recording deletion period, and any additional charges are displayed before payment.

The complete cancellation, refund, and dispute process is in our billing policy, which forms part of these terms.

Availability and pre-release features

WeaverClip is being actively developed. Pre-release features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. We work to preserve footage and explain failures honestly, but no storage system is a substitute for retaining any backup that is critical to you.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict access needed to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address nonpayment. A failed renewal receives a14-day grace period. If payment is not restored, the account becomes read-only for 30 more days. During that period, stored recordings can be reviewed or deleted and finished clips can be downloaded. Remaining content is permanently deleted after that window unless billing is restored first. Source recordings can also reach their scheduled deletion date earlier.

Liability and changes

To the extent permitted by law, WeaverClip is provided without implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date.
